It’s no secret that England Boxing has always been concerned with the safety of unregulated boxing, also known as White Collar Boxing. It is widely accepted that it can be both dangerous to the individual taking part and damaging to the sport generally. As such, England Boxing have reviewed their position, as governing body, and recognise that the issue needs to be tackled head on. 

BBC Sport Relief recently aired coverage of ‘Entry Level Charity Boxing Matches’ which demonstrated that boxers who wished to experience what it takes to become an amateur boxer, even if ‘For One Night Only’, could do so safely within current England Boxing regulations. 

Proving successful, England Boxing will now be providing a better and safer offering to the wider audience, using their platform called ‘For One Night Only’. Individuals wishing to take part in an entry level boxing match will be able to do so within a properly regulated and safely controlled environment.
